Yes, you're a hero

Augh, I am so glad these costumes are (basically) done. They were meant to premiere in April 2006, but I was struck down by sickness and unable to finish them. Fast-forward to a year later, and they were completed for the next Cherry Blossom Festival instead. I'm on the left, and my younger brother is on the right. These were both 100% sewn by me, even my brother's ghetto boot covers. My corset is the most recent piece, whereas most of the rest was made last year. I could probably do better now, but oh well. I'm very proud of the two big skirts. We're dressed as Jessica and the Hero from the PlayStation 2 game Dragon Quest VIII.
